When the decision was made to transition from AMREP to the Alfred Research Alliance, one idea was central to the change: That while ‘place’ is important, it is the people who work and study here, their achievements, and the impact their work has on the community which is at the heart of this Alliance.
During the week of 24 – 27 September, we conducted more than 400 ‘Conversations in the Courtyard’ to talk about values, work styles, collaboration, cooperation and the future of the Alliance. Like our community, the chats were diverse, interesting and exciting, and the feedback gathered invaluable.
