Alfred Health Week Prizes 2021

Each year during Alfred Health Week, a series of prizes are awarded to recognise the excellent research undertaken on the precinct during the previous 12 months.

Alfred Research Alliance Publication Prizes

Articles from researchers across the Alfred precinct which have been published in a high-impact journal during 2020 are eligible for a prestigious Alfred Research Alliance Publication Prize. See below for the criteria.

Alfred Health Week Abstract Prizes

Formerly poster prizes, in 2021 prizes will be offered by a number of the Alfred Research Alliance member organisations for excellent research abstracts in the inaugural Scientific Abstract Competition. See below for more information about prize categories, or click here to submit your abstract for consideration.

Please note that some prize criteria may be adjusted in light of the change from posters to abstract only.

ABSTRACT PRIZE DECISION PROCESS

Abstract prizes are awarded, and judged, by individual departments and/or organisations who have a presence at the Alfred precinct. You may nominate which prize you wish your abstract to be considered for by ticking the relevant box, or boxes, when you fill out your abstract submission form. The final selection, evaluation and decision will be made by the organisation offering the prize, not by the Alfred Research Alliance.
